LOL...no, we don't have to take drug tests. God, I can think of plenty of nurses AND doctors who'd be unemployed if they did drug tests.
Obviously it's frowned upon to be a raging drug/alcohol abuser, but what one does in their private time (and hopefully in moderation) is one's own business (that's a whole other ethical debate right there).
But this is where professional accountability comes into play...because I would never go into work drunk or high. In fact, I think it's against the law to drink 12 hours before a shift.
I just wouldn't do anything that would compromise my ability to make clinical judgements. |

Too bad the movie I have to watch is pretty ty in terms of movies to get stoned to.
I just want to be stoned cause I know I'll have much more creative ideas, and see things I wouldn't if I were straight. And that will increase my interest in writing this paper, which will lead to me getting a better mark!
