| and other things...because i've been apart from my boyfriend for almost 4 months! we made the decision to stay together while i'm in france studying abroad and it's almost over. i'm SO excited to see him, but i was just curious if any of you have ever had to spend months apart from your significant other as well? |

| we had done a week apart before this but i asked my mom and she and my dad in 26 years of marriage have never been apart for more than a week. isn't that crazy?! |

| it's about how much u love the person. if it's not love, it won't last, cos the lust for sex will overcome the will. If it is, then anything is possible. My brother & his fiancee have seen each other for 2 weeks since last xmas andare doing just fine, but he's off again for 3 weeks this xmas, she's finishing her 7th year of uni and he's got to get work experience so he can get a good job in canada with a work permit. It's all down to how much you want the person in question. |

It's funny that you started this thread. I just watched a movie for my English class about a couple who've been married for 50 years and the wife gets Alzheimer's. She has to go into a nursing home and their policy is that for the first 30 days the residents aren't allowed any visitors so that they can adjust properly.
Well the husband gets upset about it, because in their 50 years of marriage, they've never been apart for a month...and yeah it got me thinking about this, heh. :p |

| well its been since august 25th for us. our 1 year anniversary was 5 days ago and we just got to talk on webcam for like 20 minutes. while it hasn't been easy, it's felt oddly...natural...like i wouldn't have it any way. i really love him and i haven't been tempted by other people i've met here. at the end of the day it's always him i want. |
