Guv???? are you kidding me? If by 'sound' you mean raw decibels, yeah, maybe Guv is up there, but as for quality, it sucks.

Only a ing moron thinks louder = better.

In the city:

- Viva/Rio - Something about this system I've always liked. Possible because of the shape of the room as well, but it's always been pretty solid.

Outside the City:

- Stereo, Montreal - Amazing sound. Crystal clear, quite loud and overall high quality. The booth has incredible monitors that allow you to hear absolutely everything..

Couldn't agree more.

- Cameo, South Beach, Miami - I'm told this isn't quite as good as the old Crobar sound system but I was very much impressed.

- Twilo, Miami - It was a touch too loud at times (even with hearing protection) during peak builds, but when this system was in full swing it was incredible.

It's also a very loud system too, but not that distorted like Guv. I blame my hearing loss due to that club :( going there almost every week when I was 14 lol

best sound i've ever heard

1 Boa
2 Sonic was good but not as good as Boa
3 The drink recently is really good sound
4 CZ - tribal sounds almost perfect on that system
5 FW is very decent sound as well
6 Viva - i havent been in a while but i remember it being really good years ago

I was a Guvernment regular from 1999-2003 and the sound was pretty awesome.

I've only gone sporadically in the years since then, didn't know they changed the system.

I've went twice this year with Danny Tenaglia and Peter Rauhofer. For Rauhofer, the sound was excellent and with Tenaglia, after he got the sound tech, it sounded pretty good.

Whoever said Guv has the best sound should be sentenced to death penalty. Maybe KH sometimes sounds good depending on the setup but Guv system kills the mids and perfectly destroys the music. I love the sound of the smallest room of Circa (I dont't know the name) The absolutely best sound, particularly if you stay on the right spot it’s an audio heaven. :eyespop: :eyespop:

mod club is quite good imo, same with FW

Stereo in MTL is still my fav

ok...... let's not go there, if you are speaking of skyy vodka room, the sound is good there by no where near perfect. The main rooms sound is disgusting, i dont like it at all.
Guv sound system is good, i would give it a 7.5/10 at least, its not as bad as everyone says it is.
Plus i would assume that it's very difficult to tweak it to perfection, The room has very high ceilings plus on major events it is rammed with people, all of this distorts the sound.

Boa was amazing, stereo is best in country and I can't really think of any other venue in Canada that could compare to these two (possibly Aria at one point).
