Global Underground 027: Miami - Mixed by Danny Howells

Do it.

Though I haven't heard a recent liveset from him so not sure if he's still playing those smooth ch00ns.

Seen him live twice in a week (with deep dish), first time was wicked. Second time just couldn't get into it for some reason.

just found out about a party DH is playing tomorrow here in rome :D

I love Danny Howells
Allied Nations
saw him once play an 11 hour set... was probably the best single set I've ever heard, and one of the best nights out I've ever had!

Well I went...... and was very disappointed.

To be honest how people can find that sort of music the slightest bit interesting is beyond me. Each to their own I suppose.

Dull, Dull, Dull.

1 good track, 7-8 nothing tracks, endless 4 bars looping what seems to be forever and like 10 minutes a track. No pace and no structure to the set.

Oh well just my opinion. Seemed like a nice guy tho, good rapport with the crowd. Just wasn't my kind of thing.... music for girls I think.

SPANIARD
I saw him April 2006 and maybe it was an off night (it was howells, burridge, Sander K... all with roughly 2-3 hour sets) or that's the way he is elsewhere but really did not impress.

Burridge on the other hand had people dancing on the roof.

Yeah i had a compilation by him called "nocturnal frequencies vol. 3". It had this proggy, dark and kinda-tribal house sound which was famous in the beginning of the 00s with Diggers and co. IMO (and according to Ishkur and have to agree with him in this one) that was the most boring and dull music ever lol. Boring and dull as hell. I don't know what kind of sound does he play now though. Probably some boring proggy stuff with little bit "Electro" and "minimal" injected in there or something? It must be boring lol...
