don't get me wrong, people being rude on the dance floor sucks. but why would you have more of a right to a particular section of the floor than anyone else?

its the culture...im sorry to say, but those younger girls are prolly from the hostess bars. Usually the old dudes pay them to come out from the hostess bar and party with them.

So i noticed a trend recently; it mainly goes on in LA/Hollywood, because i haven't noticed it in SD or LV.

I think of it as e-puddle's of the 21+ club, because in reality its the same thing.

For one, i am not talking bad about Asians because they are the only ones i see doing this. My last fiancee was Japanese so i am not trying to target anyone, just these people.

They go to the very front where i usually am and just shake there head drugged the f@k out. Its usually some old asian dude with some young asian girl and they just freak each other the whole show while rolling there balls out. I am sure you guys know what i am talking about.

It was only going on in trance shows, but it seems like now a days they are doing it at house shows

They usually hog up the whoooooooooooole front of the crowd and rotate each other in the front, so NO ONE gets to be in the front but them. I always manage to squeeze in, but i am bigger then they are and i am an . I can careless about them because they don't dance or get into the music (for what i can see). They just bounce and shake there head in order to give them a better trip.

Now i am not bothered by the heads that get wasted on stuff, i am not upset because they are all smashed out. Its what they do when they are in that state and hogging up the front.

I dont know, it might just be me but am i the only one getting annoyed?

We call them "washing machines". Ugh, I can't stand them either. Have you ever seen ET before? He is ALWAYS @ Avalon.

I didn't realize that there were different degrees of the washing machines. But I think you're right. lol

We are lucky in the bay area to have nothing like that crap down in LA because while they are in the front, they are often ALL over the dance floor with little regard to anyone around them and they can screw up your personal vibe in a heartbeat. Especially on big nights where it's hard to find a spot where they are not in!

I see this here in the Bay Area, too. What bothers me is when people take up a lot of space for just two people, washing machine or not, when it's very crowded in the club as it is. I agree that everyone is entitled to their space, but I think it's rude when people are hogging up MORE space by doing the washing machines(I have to admit that it is not pretty) or by hair flinging(the drunk RS sorority types).

have you seen the washing machines? its really disgusting. they are all cracked out and sweaty and look like they are about to OD. they dont have regard for anyone else but themselves. they bump into people, shove people out of the way to get to their "spot" and honestly, even seeing them somewhat kills the vibe.

and julia, i have seen et :wtf:

Washing machines still dont bother me as much as the stumbly drunk fcks that push thier way around and flail all over the place. I've never been elbowed in the face repeatedly by a washing machine...

But srsly, some of them look like theyre 2mg from death... That can get kinda freaky.

I think it would be fun to walk through the dancefloor with your pants off and slap them all in their face with your wang.

I agree with this individual. You like to dance, they like to freak. To each there own. If you look at the way you worded your post you are inferring that you are more deserving of the space at the front than they are by virtue of your preferred means of enjoying the music. That's pretentious.

Who ever gets to the front first is the winner! :p ... and yeah, to each their own!

I personally don't like the cramped feeling of being in the crowd anyway, i usually cruise at the back.

Same here! You'll never catch me in the front, maybe off to the side or back but not the front. I need my space. ;)
