I have often wondered (and I have no evidence to it, I'm only going off instinct) just HOW it is that these people manage to get away with NOT being kicked out, when it's OBVIOUS as hell that they are O.D.-ing on their drugs? They HAVE to be greasing SOMEBODY'S palms. I know that crowd too. I've scalped WAY over-priced tickets to various sold-out trance acts over the years, and they are the first to throw down the money like it was mere tissue paper!
It's hard to turn away from that kind of cash as a Promoter or Venue operator.
But I hear what you are saying being said time and again here in L.A., and I KNOW from talking to Promoters that it is often part of the reason they move locations and change event names from time to time! It's to keep that element out! It's always just a matter of time before they show up in droves to ruin a new scene. |

I don't see how one can remove these so-called washers as they pay at the door and have the same right as everybody else. Of course, if they physically bother other people, they should be removed by the bouncers.
I guess the best option at this point is for security to really frisk and really check "Asian FOBS", as you so perceptively put it, for pills when they go into a club.
And since its being done already, check Whites for weed too. |

Nah, weed makes people mellow! No washing machines going on from weed! I wish more FOB's would smoke out rather than drop pills. ;)
But speaking of whites that could be banned; I'd like to see the Eastern Euro-trash from Russia and such booted from the clubs (like Avalon). Trouble-making, anti-social a-holes, many of them.... |

You complainers complain too much! If the so-cal washing machines bother you, then move to another spot. They have as much right if not more (they problably paid alot more to get in, when you probably got a discount or comp) to be in the club and do whatever kind of dance it is they're into just like any other person. Another thing is, I don't see many of those complaining actually dancing. I wouldn't consider be-bopping your head and standing in the same spot dancing. If they want to be all zoned out well that's their deal. They probably had a rough work week and just want to let lose or whatever.
You complainers will always find something to complain about! hahaha..
I'm surprised no one has complained about the toilet paper not being cotton soft for your whiney @sses! :stongue:

I dance...I dance a LOT. And I STILL hate the washing machine!
Just because that's all that's left at Circus doesn't mean that you have to defend them, Trin. The place is closing in a few more weeks! ;)
Now; People who hog up the only available space near speakers in dark corners, forcing the rest of us out on to the dance floor to mix with the washing machines...THOSE people have to GO!! :tongue3 |

please refer to these people as washers, washing machines or watever... yes they happened to be asians. I am asian and i have a problem with washers too... I'm also a FOB as u guys wanna call it, I wasnt born here and but i grew up here... now does that make me a washer too?
I am too are ashamed to see these mofos roll in clubs like that... they have definitely put a bad image to all of us asians... perfect example of what's going on here...
by the way... "into the music, enjoying the music" and terms that justifies one's reason to be in a club to have more right than others that "dont enjoy the music" is such a ING CLICHE'....
we're all out to have fun, and so do they... ultimately it's all about having fun.... |

thanks guys, what i love about the california west coast thread is we're always cool with one another when we discuss different issues...
gosh, i made fun of washers lots too... u know i always wonder that if u actually try to talk to those mofos see what exaclty will happen... maybe ill try that next time... lol...

they arent really complaining that they are dancing like that (i think), it is more that they push people and just shove themselves wherever they damn please, and that is rude and annoying. if people danced like that at a hip hop club and just kept bumping people they would be kicked out im sure.
