I'm sure many of you are quite familiar with this subject. Many of us were between 3 and 10 years old. I personally am fascinated with the accident even though it has cost us a lot of human life. Here is a video that aired in the UK in 1996. It first chronicles their first trip there in 1991 and then has an update 5 years later near the end. It also talks about the current, as of 1996, situation of the remaining 2 reactors. I know for a fact the new sarcophagus is actually in the planning stages if not further.

i saw the seconds from disaster episode of it. was quite informative. i do remember it happening, although i can't say I knew what it was at the time, i'd have just turned 6 i believe

STALKER was a really good idea for a game. It had some excellent elements to it. But it just fell so short in so many ways. :(
The English translation is also really hard to understand as it is scripted like crap. You never quite know what your last objective was because you don't really know what it said. :stongue:
