| i've only ever liked the first 2 cirez d releases and his remix of lola's theme. As cheesy as it is even the straightest guy takes too many drugs and ends up with no shirt acting like a fag sometimes. The rest i find painfully mediocre. |

I spun Pryda - Aftermath twice. The second time, about halfway through the tune I looked at the time remaining in the track and realized, "Well , it's only been halfway through and I have seven minutes of this same four-beat loop? No." I ejected it, faded in my next tune and proceeded to snap the disc in half.
I'll compare Prydz to Radio Slave. Both thrive on repetition. The only difference between the two is that while Radio Slave excels at not making repetition boring, Prydz can't seem to grasp that concept. He has some great ideas, sure, but he can never seem to fully develop them and opts just to loop them for seven or eight minutes. |

Some pryda tracks are amazing though, as simple and repetive as they are. Frankfurt is outstanding. And they just sound good, as much as they may not be musically complex. I'm not a producer so I don't know really what goes into making a simple loop sound so good over and over but he has it.
Europa and Odessy are boring but I really like Madderferrys, Rymd, Horizons, Frankfurt, Remember. Don't really care for Ironman, Genesis, Tigerstyle, Armed is kinda boring. But I just like his sound.
And Lola's theme is just :D |

so true
i dont really listen to any Pryda apart from the new one 'Europa' which i quite like |

| The Criez D stuff is excellent and Pryda stuff is hit or miss. Allthough he use it to death, i think he deserve credit for making his own sound. Repetive and simple are not synonyms however, not every prydz track is "simple" because it's repetive. Complex and repetive is just as possible, but i'm not gonna claim it to be this or that. |

First of all, don't use the archive. I've been lazy with it lately. Use the Swedish House Mafia Forum
As for recommendations, I personally prefer his INOX Festival set, and his Essential Mix as far as the stuff he has done lately. |

Prydz did a "Lola's Theme"? I thought it was by the Shapeshifters. |

| Prydz has been boring the hell out of me lately. What an uninspired U.S. tour. He closed out his Detroit set with Sweet Dreams? LOL |

hehe i think he was talking about the remix.
Call On Me and Aftermath is the only decent from him, for "ibiza-hit-purpose" these songs was amazing. |
