| his songs are so simple but i find myself getting addicted to everything he releases, then i get tired after listening to it a 1000 times. anyways was wondering why he uses the same formula in every track? |

Because it works.
People buy his records and people go nuts over them in clubs. |

So, tracks like "Human Behaviour", "Lesson One", "Frankfurt", "The Gift" , "Europa" are no good? Especially "The Gift", that one was very nice with the deep bells-driven lead-line and the melancholic ambient pad. Both "Human Behaviour/Lesson One" had a very nice "synth-poppy 80s" feel and "Europa/Odyssey" are not half-bad either. Ofcourse, not all of his pryda tracks are good, but some of them (the ones mentioned!) definitely are. |

he's just one of those artists who could on a dubplate and people would go nuts for it. It's irritating to see the fanboyism towards it from kids which detracts from people who appreciate it for what it is in sound, not who made it. In this instance, check out the thread starters previous topics, about stuff like deadmau5, deadrat6 or whatever, it's just trend-hopping so i'll be a grinch in replying :p |

Oh right...now i see what you are talking about...
So, yeah most of Pryda tracks suck big time lol!:p (Seriously now, all the tracks released under the "Eric Prydz" guise are definitely bad!) |

I respect the fact that you don't like Eric. We all have our preferences. But you realize that Eric was popular as far back (if not farther) than '04 right? I don't see the logic in considering anything that long a trendhop. :p |
