See, that's the thing though - something like this really can only serve to hurt the child. I do completely understand the logic of "let's make everyone aware", however it does seem that there's a fair bit more to what BT is trying to convey than just "I want my daughter back safely." And when authorities are really involved I guess it just seems as though the information would need to go to them, and not Lyn and BT's domain.
I guess I just don't buy such a clearly biased side of a story coming straight from the source of the drama.

God, I wasn't going to do this, especially on this board, but I'm so ing sick and tired of people like RJT spouting drivel that they know absolutely nothing about. We have refrained from lowering ourselves to your levels of snide inuendo remarks because you know nothing. And to tell you all what we are doing would give Ashley warning and the opportunity to run deeper into hiding. We have been dealing with the authorities from the beginning. There are specific reasons things have been done they way they have. And there are reasons that things haven't been done, which will NOT be explained. When the time is right everything will come to light and you will all know what, why, when, and how.
As far as notifying me instead of calling your local police... tell me something... what would the say ummm, Billings,Montana or Ft. Laud,Florida or SLC,Utah police do with any of the unfounded leads that have been sent in? Nothing. Because they know nothing of what's going on. Nothing. Do you know or have any idea how many emails, messages, IM's I've recieved that I've had to go through before I've forwarded the real ones on to the attorney and proper people? over 3500!! about 98% of those were just fans wishing BT good luck and support saying they'd keep their eyes open. Which we do want you to do, but don't want you calling the police to wish BT good luck! That's why my email is there! (can you say "duh!") You're dealing with a celebrity people. Everything is handled by a PR person. EVERYTHING!
just because BT is the father doesn't mean that he's the one at fault in all this. It is possible for the mother to be the abductor too. It's just not common. And just because I'm his assist doesn't mean i wouldn't come down on him if he were in the wrong. Kaia is the one that's important, Not BT or Ashley. This needs resolved legally. The only way that will happen is people seeing her, reporting it and her being brought back in. That is what is best for Kaia! Not a life of insecurity running and hiding. Does that make sense? Hrmm?
by the way, if you haven't figured it out, I'm Lynne. |

And why would people call the police or an attorney to wish BT good luck? If you leave a Myspace bulletin, an e-mail or whathaveyou that says "call the police if you have any leads" then hey, maybe the people with actual leads will call the police. Those people without leads will still IM, e-mail and post on the Myspace that they wish luck.
Honestly, in the thousands upon thousands of tiplines that have existed, do you really think that 98% of the calls have been, "Oh, I know that this is an important line, but I don't have any information. I just want to say good luck."? Don't think you're "helping the authorities" by "sifting through" all of the polite comments. Christ. |

Tips are going to come from all over, its obvious is somebody has serious info they'd go to the police (as well most likely). If anything having as many channels open as possible is the best thing-
Good luck with the search.
Let's keep the ridiculous comments to a minimum, thanks. Some of you are already looking like absolute idiots. |

Yes - like anyone showing BT any support for such ludicrous bull.
He certainly didn't seem too worried when he was here playing gigs in Chicago last week.
And by the way, Greg - why don't you go and find which police are even taking tips on this. Find me an "Amber Alert." Find me anything, I'd love to see which law enforcement agency is heading up the search.

That's pretty damn funny considering the load of bollocks in your "missing" poster. You have indeed lowered yourselves to the lowest possible level of humanity one is capable of lowering themselves to.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, that kid would be better off without any of you.
Then again, we are "dealing with a celebrity" people - their PR agent handles "EVERYTHING."
You'll have to excuse me for not buying a single word out of PR persons mouth - ing bottomfeeders.
So Lynne, you just keep running around to internet forums the world over and telling people what a great dad BT is - and when he's done playing his 45 minute laptop symphony each night and you get off the computer, the two of you can talk about how many internet kids support you guys while you wait for someone internet trancer to go find his daughter.
Too bad they can't send her back to you as en email attachment, huh? |

Whether or not BT's child is in fact missing, it's a pretty situation, not something to be a douche about. I've had friends and family of friends kidnapped before and it's whatever way you look at it.
If it is though, and this is one of the ways BT's family/management has decided to go about getting her back, that's their choice. I'm just not about to insult anyone because of their efforts. |
