So I understand. I am still not sated with the conclusion though. To deny your desires is to deny the animal which balances you. I very much prefer reckless indulgence than I do personal denial - they both seem different sorts of loss and gain, but at least by indulging in your interests you can at least socialize and form some fragment of your being - whereas attempting to become an empty vessel of universal consciousness would be as satisfying as being reincarnated as a rock. I was a rock in my previous 4 lives. I'm ready for something a little more in this one.
