About the bar: i dont know the name of it but if you can find the Hotel de Europe, its 7 to 10 meters to the left of that door... you cant miss it as it has HUGE windows and you will be able to see this bar from the outside with all the bottles.
Wont you advise them to visit Anne Frank's 'temp' house when they are that close to that? I mean its just a walking distance, right? Whats the harm in visiting the place.. there are orignal pictures she posted on her wall to make it more cheerful.. its crammed and small.. but she lived and tried to be grand and positive about it all the time.. isnt that cheerful.... maybe he will see how positive his life is... and realise how un-deserving it was for a jovial out-going girl like her..

Its more touching than movies. In movies you know that they are just actors.. and they live a good life after shooting it.. but its her diary.. her personal diary... its right in front of you.. writen by her.. and she is no more.. she wanted to be a writer... but when she is dead how wonderfull a writer she is right now... if in entire history if someone asks me what one person you want to come alive.. I would say her.. cos I want her to see how successful writer she is, what she always wanted to be. She has made her dream come true.. but she is not there to see it. She didnt derserved it. Pain.
