Played Comfort Zone for the 3rd time yesterday! :D

Played upstairs this time, and it was soooo much fun.

Personally, I'm not really into hanging out there, though i do go occasionally and just drink upstairs.

But me that crowd is great to play for!! ;)

personally i miss the good old days of october 2005. back then it used to be about the music.

ya, but only the first three weeks. By week four, dj's were already starting to sell out and partiers had grown jaded and pretentious.

Funny...I've had chats with DJs who do play there and they tell me they all play their best when at Zone as the crowd is brutally tough at times. Hmmmm.
Take Manzone and Strong for instance

M&S are amazing. but youre right, they do recognize that they have to play to a zone crowd. They realize that the zone crowd is made up of add cases and kids who were 'special' growing up. In effect, there sound is somewhat dumbed down, you might say, more accessible and usually just non stop pounding.

So the chat I was having with a girl who works in non-profit yesterday .where is it? Zone of all places!

Her nonprofit work is probably served as some kind of atonement for all the terrible things she does and to make herself feel better about going to the zone. you know, kind of like how all you guys get defensive when you talk about going to the zone. Like: 'i go sober', and all of that. She probably spends 24 hours a weekend at the zone and then justifies it by telling everyone that she does work for charity.

LOL yes that's why yesterday Glenn Morrison delivered a beautiful set of progressive trance because the music there is all made for 'special' people.

I would hardly call her vast knowledge of the subject and passion justification for going out dancing. Just because something doesn't rub you the right way doesn't mean it's utterly and morally wrong.

Last time I checked having my crotch grabbed at guvernment by some drunk slimeball was morally wrong but since it's at a place that isn't Zone that guy is automatically Jesus.

Why exactly are you posting on a clubbing forum if your opinions on clubbing habits and venue choices aren't exactly open?:haha:

I wouldnt say hes Jesus. Most guv patrons wouldnt deny why they are there. The guvernment is just as bad as the comfort zone, but the guvernment is also quite different from the comfort zone in other respects and thats why they cant be compared. The zone is considered by the heads on this board to be some kind of mecca and im just saying that it isnt.

They are quite open. I have been to the comfort zone. I have given it more than one chance. I make these posts because i loving clubbing, house music, and this city more than anything.
