its because they lack honesty.
who is going to listen about the dangers of MDMA if they've tried it and had a ing wonderful time? there needs to be an honest approach to educate people about the dangers, not a "omg if you touch ecstasy you're gonna die!"
totally counterproductive. harm minimisation and PROPER education are the way to go. tell people how they should be taking their drugs, rather than a "just say no" attitude. human beings have been saying yes from the first time we discovered our first opiate.
too many politicians are tards that forget what their youth was really like. , the hippies and peace lovers from the free love 60s are todays managers, politicians, government bigwigs. what a crock. |

Agree with you with most, except quite a few politicians were squares :)
I don't know if actively telling people "how to take drugs safely" is a great idea. The fact that people do should be acknowledged, but I'm not in favour of putting a "Crack for Dummies" book on the shelves.
I think there should be a campaign more on "learn what you are doing to yourself". Make people research it a bit, on the internet, forums (lol), with thier friends. People should make up thier own minds, weighing up the health risks, the legal risks and the social associtions. The medical FACTS should be readily available, rather than a how-to guide. |

| Hey thanks for posting here Tronica... nice to see some responses on the forum for the representitives for surveys like this. I agree with what your saying as well. Not quite old enough to do the survey (nearly 15) but good luck with it anyway. |

Thanks Darkarbiter. Would be great to include views from those under 16 years, but it gets tricky in terms of research ethics committees - who feel that anyone under 16 needs parental permission to participate in research. Of course with a subject like drugs, it's not so practical to get parents permission! Feel free to PM me though if you need any info on the topic :) |
