Whoa whoa, when I say bitches I don't mean it in the sense of girls at the bar, I'm simply referring to the rest of you as bitches. If I want girls I go to Rouge, when I want music and drinks I go to Tribe. |
and all because a comma was missing :p |

The opening DJ is wildly important. When I saw Sasha in Vancouver last Christmas, Kevin Shiu opened for him and played a set of Bore-Prog, which is exactly where Sasha picked up when he got on, thereby wasting the first 1.5 hours of his set transitioning out of it. 3 months later at Tribe, Spooky opened for him and were playing a banging assed set of wicked proggy minimal electro madness, and when Sasha got on the decks after them he kept the energy high the entire night and blew away the previous performance.
That said, the calibre of local DJ in montreal pisses all over that of Vancouver. I'd happily party to only locals 3 nights of the week for the next 6 months, such is the talent pool we have in this city. I could draw random names out of a hat and come up with a solid opener for Zabs.
So let's get back to what's important: bottles of vodka bitches and James Zabiela bitches. | Yeah definitely. I think it also depends on the opener's awareness of the headliner's style. They got to click.
Spin, last year to Benassi, i think it was TECHNOTRONIC? |

| well the point is, if Maher can open for Fanciulli, which I think makes more sense anyways with what he plays, why not let Moe open for Zab? Pissing context or not, I want Moevalith the 28th. Period. |

Maher and Zabiela are friends, and Maher listens to Zabiela's promo mixes as well as chatting him up frequently enough to know pretty much exactly what he's playing at any given time.
Zabiela has played Maher's music as well.
Also, Maher has proven to the Tribe guys that he knows what to play between 10:00 and 12:00 to get people grooving before a big head liner. |
SHARA RE-ENTERS DEBATE.
ANY "GOOD" DJ CAN WARM A CROWD UP PROPERLY.
OMG
CONSPIRACY.

This is a retarded pissing contest, and it should not have been one but Nick and Hakim seem very "militant" about this and I don't know why. |
It's called: Friends showing support for another friend.

That being said, what would be cool is if Moe could open for Zabs, and Maher open for Fanciulli. |

I suspect Anton will open for one of them, seeing as how he's Tribe's resident and a great DJ...
But hey what do I know! |

| Of course I'm pushing for my friend; but then again maher and Moe are friends as well... so mostly I'm pushing for what i want to hear, as everyone here. |
