Ultra Music Festival 10 Official Thread (pg. 7)

n00b questions here:
- will Ultra sell out
- will the price go up? (ie, jump on tix now?)
Also, how much should I budget for Fri, Sat and Sun? I won't be doing too much high rolling VIP stuff, mainly ultra fest and some other gigs.
I'm not including hotel and airfare, that's gonna be taken care of by someone else.

- Also Steve Lawler says hes playing Day 2, not Day 1...I'm curious to see how it all looks for Phase 2 |

no, I don't believe Ultra can sell out. The price will continue to increase though. When phase2 comes out the price will probably go up another $20.
At Ultra prices will be about $8 for a beer, $12 for a mixed drink. Probably $5 for water. $8 for a burger... think sports stadium prices for that stuff.
Outside of Ultra at clubs/bars the drinks will be $10 or more. You can eat for cheap or eat nicer, see the food thread sticked up top for some of the better places. The cheap alternative is Subway/pizza/small places like that. |

Cosmic Gate & SVD would be a great addition!
How about, Above & Beyond? I seem to love their sh!t
If Lawler is going to day 2 then wow.
Day 2 should be a monster.

i probably will not go if lawler changes unless they add someone else on day 1. im probably going to catch zabiela and hawtin elsewhere. only reason i would still consider going would be for cox. |

Agree. Though i was very dissapointed with cosmic gate at the Chakra party last wmc. Wasnt hard trance anymore. They converted to a very proggy like set. Not the same style as what they do in europe...hate when djs who are known for a style change to conform to what everyone else is playing around them - since wmc isnt really trance and hard trance.
But above and beyond would be amazing at Ultra. Ultra is really lacking on the trance so far. |

| I'd like to hear a ing sound system that works this year at Ultra! The Main Stage and Carl Cox Tent sounded like last year Sasha & Digweed, Ferry, Christopher Lawernce, PVD, Sander Van Dorn all of it sounded like because of the system, it was so fustrating. |
