Since I haven't heard much excitement over this show and it has been overshadowed by the Underworld show, I wanted to ask if anyone is planning on going to this besides me? |
Yeah, I'm there. Heh, I don't think you'll need to worry about being the sole PVD fan attending the event. |

Good to see you guys will be there. I know I'm not the only one, but can't help but see the hate on this board. There just hasn't been much buzz over one of the world's top djs coming to town. I could be the only one here to say PvD will be better than Underworld though. |

ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? Underworld MADE EDM what it is today!!! So you thank your lucky stars for what UNDERWORLD did for the EDM, but since you are a noob at dance music I don't expect you to know the true history. I mean come on HOW MANY deejays have remixed some Underworld track? Think long and hard about that and get back to me.
IMO PVD is great and all. I have gone to NYC, Miami, and here numerous times to see him. but HE can't EVEN compare to what Underworld has done. He can't even compare to the SHOW that Underworld gives. So I have attached some reading material for you to read up on Underworld. |
I understand why you want to defend Underworld. I am not a total noob, I do have some knowledge of all this. I meant nothing against Underworld and recognize that they have done a lot. Maybe PVD hasn't done what Underworld has, I can grant you that. I would have to go to the Underworld show to really be able to compare shows, but for me personally I think I will enjoy PVD better since I'm more of a trance guy. I said it before in another post as a comparison. I listen to a lot of metal too. I respect what the metal bands from back in the 80s have done for the scene, but the bands of today I believe are better. Please don't think I'm trying to attack Underworld. Oh, and thanks for the reading material. |

Wow, 400 seems like a lot. How many tickets were there to begin with? It seems like Opera wouldn't hold that many. |

Opera's capacity nearly doubled when they remodeled. The capacity is up in the 1600 range now. |

Oh, I didn't realize that. I thought it would be somewhere around 800. So are you saying there have been over a thousand tickets sold so far? Well, I better get my ticket soon. |

| I have a quick question about Opera. I see various people walking up and down those stairs to the dj booth and was wondering what exactly do you have to do to get up those stairs? I'm assuming it's not for everyone, so what do you have to do to get up there, is there a guest list or something? And if so, what do I have to do to get on that list? |
