Very nice post. I'm wondering though, have you ever been to Wetbar? |
Yeah, I was there once (for the most recent Ferry Corsten show). Not my favorite event or venue, to be honest, but I was feeling lousy that night, so that might have affected my judgment. I gotta say I still prefer Opera and Fever. |

| Supposedly the Ferry show was too overcrowded as well. I'm not sure since I was there, but definitely go back. It's without a doubt the best venue I've ever been to besides Höm in Charlotte. |

That was more packed than Carl Cox. :wtf:
Brett Mauro played freaking awesome until about 12:15, then seemed to be playing filler tracks thinking "wtf, where is paul?". PvD came on about 1am, and played the most boring set I've ever heard a DJ play. I described it like McDonalds... consistently dependable music, yet incredibly cheap and dry.
Oh, and Opera is the first club I've ever been to where they "don't have" tap water. Wow. |

Meh, 2 hours? I figured it wouldn't be too interesting but kinda wanted to check it out regardless.
Wow no tap water? that . |

| In order to appease more listeners (and make more money) PvD has dumbed down his music. What a shame. |

| So Paul van Dyk was - in essence - the tap water. |
