Which carrier are you with, if you don't mind me asking?
I'd like a cheap data option as well.
Right now I'm using an 8700, but am looking to move to the Curve to get multimedia capabilities.
The 8800 vs the Curve, I've been comparing - and I don't know what the pros/cons are of each.
Any thoughts? |

the $15 package is for email and pin2pin only. no web.

Yup!
Also, I noticed that Bell offers the same deal. Email only though and no data plan.
I currently don't have a data plan on my Blackberry, but don't really see a need for it yet. My friend who works for Rogers just put me on her Friends & Family discount...so I might add depending on how much of a discount I get per month. |

The lady at Bell almost tricked me with that crazy data plan. They call it the "Fun Pack" at Bell and I bet a lot of people will get it confused with a full blown data plan. |

lol. I've never paid more than $35/month (taxes in) for a phone plan.
Cell phones are just too expensive imo. |

holy crap. $35? i dont think ive ever paid that little but i dont get anywhere near actuvate's monthly payments.
ny plan is $45/month which includes 150 weekday/daytime minutes, unlimited evenings starting at 9pm, unlimited weekends, unlimited incoming anytime minutes and 4MB of data. then i added 2500 outgoing text messages for $10 and caller i.d./call waiting, etc for another $10. then taxes and whatever fees they add on per month. |
