Agreed.
Last year I was suppose to check out Francois K. at Crosstown the new venue, but never made it. Cracks me out to hear this "new place" has better ventilation than CZ. The old "bassmint" you had to bring your own respirator and carry an oxygen tank of your own to survive its madness. PURE CHAOS!!! :whip:
Bassmint was still the sketchiest afterhours I'd ever been to followed by Spincat or whatever it was called. |

LOL! That is exactly was I was going to say.
Bassmint & Spincat (Isabella & Yonge I think) were way more intense (like camping...) than anything I've ever seen before. |

Re: ventilation; to the defense of Zone...there wasn't nearly the amount of people sweating it up @ Basement compared to a typical zone day.. As it starts to fill up on weekends, I'm sure there will be rising concern regarding the air quality. Nothing compares to zone on new years day though... it was like walking through a wall of water, everywhere you went. Unreal. Portable oxygen is a great idea. |
