Thanks. Theres a park right by my house that has an s-load of cherry trees that bloom every spring.
Oh, and eRRaTik... that streaking light effect is done by either moving the camera or zooming the lens on a long exposure. (That one you posted looks like it was zoomed.) |

Long exposure and a zoom lens.
Zoom in as far as you want
Hit shutter and zoom out immediately
Leave enough time for the exposure to finish while zoomed out.
According to the exif that was a 2 second exposure. So zooming out for the first half-second or less, then static for the last 1.5 or more. |

hehe, i played around like that before, except the object of focus was my face. i got some weird results lol. |

I'm definitely not a pro nor do I have a great camera but what the heck :D
I should probably try to take some new photos soon. I haven't even tried to take cool shots in a long time, not that those two are very old or anything, and I probably can't shoot anything cooler, but it's still a lot of fun to just play around :)
