Acid lounge looks like a glorified coat check area.....there's no way it can substitute for the Gallery....I wish they were making that room the Indie room....... |

But then the indie music would leak during delicious breakdowns...and that would be sad.

im sure guv management knows nothing about managing a club like that. lol are u kidding me.. i dont know why theyre doing this but obviously they have an idea or a reason.. i was never a fan of gallery but i had a few good times in there back in the day.. so it kinda sucks that theres gonna be no more of the good locals in there.. but then again maybe theyre tryign to get rid of all the zoners and turn it into something nicer? i dunno . just guessing haha im sure they knwo what theyre doing though. |

i havent been to guv (drink + gallery) in ages
but ive noticed the few times I have been over the course of 2007 and even 2006 it never seemed to be as full as it used to be (on resident and even guest nights) ... have the numbers been dropping off that much? |

Yes they actually have... They had to move Dekoze to the Drink one night... |

| So I guess the next time I'd like to see the likes of Miss Blu, Deko-ze, Jelo and our other incredible locals I will have to hit up a club like Footwork? Besides CZ, where else do these DJs spin on a (semi) regular basis? |

yea i've seen the gallery empty on sum nytes and they prbly make no money at the bar in there....i do believe it does have a seperate entrance they do got a coat check....
logically its the nex step for guv, its the one sound there missing in the complex....main room/drink has got edm and the orange room/d'luxe are urban....so it only make sense to "try" a rock room....
wat they should do is strip the acid lounge and redesign it....theres no real space to dance in there....i always thought of the acid lounge as a place to go in and chill on the leathers..... |
