World Cup Crazy!

I'm pretty excited about the world cup and I heard even better news:
I heard that bars in Toronto will stay open until 5 AM on certain nights (because of the time difference)...Has anyone else heard this?
If this is true, it could be a pretty messy June! |

I don't have cable, and live live in Waterloo.. I sure hope Waterloo bars stay open late and show all games.
Myself, I hope to watch all games which involve Russia, Brasil, Argentina, Italy and England. |

Here all the matches will be seen between 3 AM and 9 AM.
Argentina-Nigeria is sunday 3 AM!!!.
We will see this game at clubs, of course. Everybody will stop to dance and will see the match in big screens.

Yeah I have high hopes for the Irish this summer...they look a lot better than they have in past years (including '94) and Roy Keane is playing so you should definitely watch out for them this year.
I'm looking forward to it...there's some really good matchups this year + all night binge drinking!

Yup just a couple more weeks to go.
Toronto is defiently a great place to be for the world cup. We are so multicultural and passionate about it here that the city explodes with excitement.
I've lived in the eye of the storm almost all my life. It seems every day they are shutting down St. Clair and Dufferin for some group to party it up on the street. Definetly a great atmosphere to get into the games.
I route for 2 things in the World Cup... First of all I gotta represent my South African blood and route for the Bafana Bafana.
Second of all I route for the Azzurri to LOSE... I am pretty pasionate about this. Growing up in this 'hood you either love or hate em. Too many italian fans out there to celebrate upset ties to Chile. (that just made me laff - they basicaly lose they game and they run around like they won meanwhile the Chileans were out aswell celebrating. That ofcourse equaled fireworks!)
Anyways looking forward to it.

Think about how crazy that month is. World cup, Hockey playoffs(hopefully a candian team in the finals), olympics, and for me ......formula 1. Something for everyone in that month.
And the bars are open til 5. I heard that but does anyone know the specifics...like just sports bars or all bars(which could include bars @ clubs???).
