I used to be very active on TA back in the "good old days" (00, 01, 02) when tons upon tons of amazing producers would hit this place daily. Some changes started taking place tho, an influx of "newbies" so to say, who couldnt work a search, and asked the same couple questions every other day. "Just where is that button that makes my pos sound like Ferry?" TA production forums were loosing ground and thats when I knew it was time to get out. APN (The AudioPioneers Network) was born. We pulled a bunch of people from TA, and Tnu alike but all people with great attitudes and a bit higher knowledge of production and created an invite only / exclusive community where we could trade thoughts on a higher level. The results have been amazing, and we have an amazingly "warm" community you know kinda like an analog piece of gear! You can submit an "application" for consideration and I do try to get them all reviewed asap. But feel free to get in touch with me for more info. We respect all of our members and knowledge as a result flows! |

Really sums this place up and I can appreciate the need for an invite only site.
Still some helpful people on here though and nice to see older members still helping newbie’s who have at least made some effort to answer their questions.
I read the forums at apn quite often and there does seem to be a real sense of community.
Nice to see that someone had the initiative to set it up and it's flourishing rather well.

I remember those days.., i do miss them.
Funny, i was browsing APN last day because i am bored at my work. Then i see it's an invite only forum.
Few days later a mail comes to my hotmail, with the notifaction of the sean tyas interview. I forgot i was once invited there haha. Made only 2 posts there ;/
