Things to do in Tampa?

| He folks, I'm going to be spending a week in Tampa/St. Pete's, unfortunately, I have absolutely no clue what the area has to offer. Anyone care to offer some suggestions on things to see or do? |

Dammit. haha. If I still lived in Miami I'd road trip there to party with you.
ummmm........ When are u staying? Ybor is a fun collegetown type place filled with bars and clubs. Everything closes at 3 :( |

Deep Dish in Orlando on March 1st... thats all i see in the events list..
Orlando is about 90 min from Tampa..
edit: if its anything like the past couple days then you'll be set..
84 yesterday and today..and like 82 tomororw..
of note: there have been some really cold days that can pop up in March... so beware that the beach might be out of the question while you are here.. |

Busch Gardens, Florida Aquarium, Channelside (for your getting drunk needs), Ybor(which is near downtown Tampa) which is the club district... very blah clubs.., TB Lightning hockey is always a big draw, Spring training should be in full swing by then so if you like baseball there will be TONS of it around here...
and Orlando is 90 min away... that opens up a whole world of ideas...
btw.. Tampa is about 30 min from treasure island.. |

| downtown St. Pete lots of bars, a few clubs... Push Ultra Lounge(fri dance, sat hiphop), Palm Bay Club, The Lobby (friday night house music). Kayaking at Ft. Desoto. Just realized you said 3/1 - 3/7 so that probably takes away any Friday/Saturday night stuff. So during the week... just depends on what you want to do. Check out www.reaxmusic.com or www.creativeloafing.com for local mags w/events. |

| Thanks folks. Mrs Hazard will be with me and being as she's carrying the next generation of the Hazard family she isn't likely to be down for clubbing; subsequently, more non-party related suggestions would be welcomed. |
