hmm, between 4 years of playing poker, dealing cards and now, helping run an underground club, I cant really say that I do have a gambling problem. I'm very weary of where and who I play with and what stakes I play at, but there are times I do gamble with excess money instead of saving it up. But rarely do I up and gamble with money for the necessities. I do play alot tho, so I guess im more of a poker addict than say "gambling" in general addict.

used to play alot of poker couple of years back, now i just deal and run games at my buddys bar every tuesday....cause they say house never loses...so i decided to be the house...lol...but i've seen and heard to many horror stories...still like to play multi table tourny once in a while...but playing a cash table now a days is like playing bingo....way to many donkeys and fishermen...it's embarressing to the game of poker..

I went to a casino once and lost like $75. I know that's not a lot of money to real gamblers, but I hated the feeling of losing. In my opinion, it's better to have money than to risk losing it all.

I used to play poker when I was in high school, haha. I would only gamble 25 cents, but I usually won every game. Yay beginner's luck! :gsmile:

to me....I'm not loosing money....its entertainment. If I can spend 4 hours at the casino and I loose $100.00 then its just $25.00 an hour for some enjoyment....and that doesn't seem to bad. If you are going to the casino wanting to win money then you are not going to have fun....if you go then it should be to have fun....that way it doesn't seem like loosing money.
