A bunch of my friends went to LA-NYE for Tiesto@Giant didn't have a good time. Everyone have their days. |

this is not news, tiesto has gone downhill since isos 3. the last good tiesto show i saw (and the first one i saw for the matter) was in 2005. ever since he started playing that cheesy house crap in his sets he got weak. looking back at his old isos and magik releases, he used to be brilliant. sad.....:(
its ironic though that he's still nr 2 on the dj poll, and people still love him, although i'm willing to bet most of his following are just newcomers, attracted to his name and fame. |

i went to LA concert in 2005 for Tiesto it was off the hook.
went again for new years eve in vegas 2006 was also great...
but nowadays... no comment on his elements of life album...
find the cd MAGIC 7 live in los angeles...that s good!!! |

Tiesto in concert in LA was definitely amazing. I saw him at wmc last year (i know...big mistake), and he wasnt thatttttt bad. I think what's going on right now is that all the top DJs are trying to incorporate diff genres into their sets and not the hardcore enthusiasts are not happy about it.
example...I saw a video of PVD playing a dirty house version of PATT at vanguard. That probably would have never happened a few years ago lol. |

EDM is becoming mainstream again. Yup!!!! At least here in LA, EDM is booming in the mainstream world, specially that Dirty South type of electro.

| It sucks when EDM gets mainstream because it usually turns to crap!! I find my self liking a dj/producer and when that person gets big/mainstream i find myself disliking them :( :rolleyes: only two words for it GARBAGE PALES:toothless |
