A wise choice... as in my experience at any number of them is that it generally requires 45-50 min to get your food after waiting 20-30 min for your drinks.

Haha that commercial annoys me too. I used to work there and I'm not sure where they came up with the Cheers thing. But all things considering they have pretty good food there.

Hate that bloody commercial. I mute the TV every time it comes on.
me@t k@tie
That IS a dumb commercial. "Everybody knows your name." What a load of BS, lol. What happens if I am served by someone who does not know my name? False advertising? I think so!
And way to be original.
Irishaddict
have never seen that, but oh man spinach dip is awesome

Waiting for ex-lifers to chime in here....
90% of the franchises you eat at are owned by the same parent companies. (Just look at the glasswear/dishware they use)
Cara and SirCorp are the parent corporations of numerous popular franschises that 'target' customers by presenting 'different' themes.
You are eating the SAME processed food at different locations.
Google it you will see.
Few locations actually have a dish that differentiates (sp?) them from their competitors (Ie Canyon Creeks Ribs are honestly FABULOUS and not available anywhere else to my cynical knowledge).
Further, since these are franchises, the quality of the dish is mostly dependant on the individual restaurant despite the exact same recipe. Higher volume locations usually translate into better prepared quality dishes (fresher because of the higher turnover and stricter regulations).
I could go on forever but IM tired of typing...
COR VERSION...
85% of franchises have the same in the same glasses/dishes.
Don't let the adds fool ya.
*edit* I wonder what CARA paid to use that song...though I think it was a bad move because NOBODY knows your name at Kelseys...(would you really want them too???)

Same for me. And I hope more Cheers fans follow so that Kelsey's ad campaign ends up shooting them in their own foot. Bastards.
