Sucks when the day after you get your first single released, you see 3000+ downloads of the full release on torrents/etc.

| I will say, i do like how some labels are trying to combat this. Archipel for instance (even though started as a net label) offers the tracks for free at a lower quality and available for purchase in full 320/wav format. If all labels did this, perhaps less people would resort to prick2prick software to fill up their oyepods (artist and label get more exposure, strengthening their fanbase). People that don't pay will never pay, but perhaps it could incite some who enjoy the music they got for free so much to obtain the highest quality possible in terms of audio. Then again when i look at the top sales in most genres i think we are doomed:p |

| Well a lot of psy releases are like: "Well are we going to break even or make 100 bucks?". So obviously its important to buy cds you like... and even more important to see them live. Then ofcourse I just like having stuff in cd quality and the album art... and having the physical cd. |

well i admit i download mps and vinyls etc....but i also do buy alot of cds as well. i know that doesnt make it right....
but in a way downloading music helps artists get exposure... |
