They block those ports at work?
I wonder if they'd block across port 80... or port 443 (https).
I can try setting up something to do that... though probably not right at the moment. :p |

That was my bad, I had the input volume turned up pretty loud for a Skype session. Sorry :p Did it sound better toward the end?

It's blocked at work for me too, I don't know if it's the ports in general or just that protocol. |

Its probably the port, shoutcast is dead simple in its protocol, its just HTTP with a couple specific headers. Its really easy to make a server for it. :p
Infact when you go a shoutcast server status page it just sees the browsers headers and sends its HTML content instead of MPEG content... Figured that out cause it doesnt recognize Opera by default and it sends the stream content no matter what. :( |
