really? I heard good things about the place from ppl. I saw one when i visited San Diego this time. Was so curious to try it. I have heard from a friend or two though Ruth Chris is known for steaks being prepared with unique marinades/sauces that would be considered different than in other steakhouses. wondering if that statement holds up or not. **shruggs** |
I think they use a ton of butter and they serve hot plates with bubbling butter so that your meat continues to cook in front of you. |

Whenever I order a burger I get the cheese fries with their ranch [it owns sooo much].
Their mash is so yummy too.. but too filling.
That place is sooooooo greasy but freaking good. |

Outback is amazing. Lol at all the Ruth's Chris comparisons. Outback's steaks aren't as good, and they don't try to be. I leave Outback at the verge of being sick I eat so much, and for two people its always less than $50. Ruth Chris is well over $50 a person.
I also had two comparable appetizers at both places two weeks ago...their seared Ahi Tuna...Outback's was much better. Ruth's Chris' tasted somewhat frozen, and the sauce they made for it was extremely salty, and I love salt. |
