I'm quite sure Hugh Laurie goes on holiday fairly regularly.

I hope that trance keeps growing on the production front, although I have to say that I'd rather not see it "saturated in the media." That just leads to a big influx of garbage as people try to cash in on the popularity of the sound.

I don't understand what this means. Does that make me uncool?

So a random flier from some show in New York is a sign of trance's booming popularity? :wtf:

Also, slight lol at the pudgy dj being the one sitting down on the flier.

I don't recall Trance ever having been saturated, at least not to a significant extent. On that note, I don't find Trance today being any more or less integrated into mainstream media than it was circa 1999 or 2000 (though perhaps I'm just not looking hard enough).

That's because you're American.

It means you've been living under a rock on the dark side of the moon, if you're not joking.

when labels start becoming picky of the astic releases that get put out.

when anyone and everyone ISN'T a producer.

when anyone and everyone stops their fake ass radio shows like we actually listen to them.

I've not got a problem with any of this :p

One person's is another person's favorite track (even if the music is wretched).

I don't care what labels sign as long as there are labels out there that sign good . And if we really got down to it, I don't even care about the labels for the most part, merely the music.

As for "everyone being a producer", I really can't see how this hinders anything. Sure, it's over saturation and it may take longer to find things you personally enjoy. I just fail to see how everyone and anyone being able to convey their musical aspects really hinders anything. It instead lends itself to far more creativity and great music (as well as a heaping load of puppy smegma).

I just think out of all the genres... Trance is TOOOOOO EASSSSY TO GET INTO!

It's losing the feeling it used to give and the quality of tracks is getting lower and lower. I see it very opposite of u.

About the label signing ... I just think they should limit themselves but then again there are hundreds of other labels out there that are willing to sign a song that got turned down by a bigger label.

edit - lol@ Matt. He posts in EVERY single thread and just because madness ensues 15 pages later... he thinks he started it all. :stongue:
