like our good times passed us by or you just plain miss your youth, your naivness, your ways of not giving a . so much has changed in 3 years its incredible. im turning 26 and im not the same person i was 3 years ago. ive done my most changing in 3 years then i have my entire life.
today i had to check out a house on the street i was born on. and i just chilled there parked for an hour and remembered my youth which seems like centuries ago, and i just chilled and remembered and couldnt believe that 2 years prior to that i didnt even exist. but this whole world did. ed up feeling ill tell u that. ive been totally facing my existence this last week. and im drunk |
turning 25 this summer and i'm feeling mad old, and i have changed a lot in the last 2 years i think i have matured quite a bit maybe thats why i'm getting out of the scene |

I get that a little bit, but I think part of it is people always mistaking me for 30-ish. I liked people thinking I was older when I was 18, and didn't mind it so much when I was 21, but now it's getting a little weird.
Although, that's probably not what the topic was really about, is it. I've mostly blocked out all childhood memories, so they don't bug me too much. |

| you will feel that way for a few years but by the time you are 28 or 29 you will get the second wind. I think you realize there is still a lot of life to live and lots of care free times to be had after you go through that maturing stage. |

I'm turning 26 on Victoria Day weekend and I must say, I'm scared. I miss being irresponsible and getting away with it, i miss being loud and people expecting it cuz of my young age, i miss being carefree and not worrying about the consequences, and most of all i miss not having more bills than my parents! lol
I know EXACTLY what you mean. I'm the oldest in my crew, and to be honest i don't mind cuz it keeps me young :toocool: |

| its all about perspective. i like to club/party but definitely not like when i was younger. i'm 29 now and it feels a bit weird, mentally, being the older one in the crowd but it doesn't bother me. i do a lot more things with friends my around age so i don't feel old at all. we're just into different, more mature things. but i do agree with you eric... when i was 27ish i came to the same realization that i'm old now. but the important thing is to take measures to change your perspective/surroundings so that you don't feel old. from what i know about you, you're definitely on the right track. just takes a while to get used to it. :) |
