for real, you all need some god damn perspective!!
when you were six you couldn't have the # of cookies you wanted
when were 14 you were all tired of having the newly driving 16-17 yer who just started driving stealing your gf's
when you were 18 you just couldn't wait till you were 22 and you could go WHEREEVER the f*ck you wanted
and now you're prime mid-20's THE PEAK! now I ruin my appetite right before diner cuz i f*ckin can! in fact i think i'll do that tonight... you can hop on a plane and get into any Vegas club no issues... you can pick up highschool guy's gf's AND tap other people's 'married' wives! there is no better place to be then where you are right now
and you get to use the best start to any given sentence... "yo, back in the day...."
Vivid is in his prime and just where he needs to be... at least he had the drunk excuse... most of this is sober sat beautiful day out talk, and that's the part that freaks me out! |

lol yeah.. I am 19.. and not my parents.. my old friends/classmates parents. They all seem to believe I should be back home, not in school, especially not in Canada and settling down.

No complaints here. I can hardly relate to feeling old, despite having adult responsibilities.
I think it's from always getting in when I was a kid. There's a always a feeling of "I need to check with an adult first" that lingers in the back of my mind somewhere, lol.
edit: I think I'll start feeling old when I can no longer fit into clothes I wore in high school. :nervous: |

I'll be 27 in the fall and I feel like I'm really getting old and the most depressing thing is that I feel like I haven't really lived *life* yet. I feel that I missed out on a lot of good stuff that I could have had and lost a lot of good times and feelings through my foolishnes or circumstances (yeah, have to blame it on someone/something else, like all excuse-makers I guess).
And also, I'm scared that I'll never achieve those good things/dreams of mine. That's perhaps even scarier than aging. :nervous: |

i'll be 28 in a few weeks! :eyes: i can't complain though... every year seems to be better then the last for me so if trends continue 2008 should be phenomenal. partying is becoming few and far between but i'm ok with that. it just means that i get to pick and choose the parties that i think are going to be amazing. i just need to give myself adequate time to recover afterwards and make sure i get my naps in beforehand.
on a related note, i was having a little house party not too long ago and spent a good chunk of the night talking to a buddy of mine about mortgages, marriage and child support... lol. i felt soooo old after that conversation. |

STOP ing around and partying and you wont feel old lol. I am 26 its not the age , its the mindset! your not old consider a 45 year old ot even 55 ? I dont think they are old, its not like your in a scooter and with a walking stick *shakes fist* lol
i understand what your saying you having diffrent opinions and stuff . that just comes with age its called experience and be prepared we arent too far from the bend to the 30s and then we can call ourselves cougars LMAO! |
