26, and this is the FIRST time ever that I feel like clubbing is getting old. Not only do the drugs interest me less and less....(I RARELY use them anymore, cept for special occasions).....but the scene in general is totally different then it was in 2000-2004. those were the glory years (and the toronto years, for me) lol. NYC scene is completely different and not necessarily in a good way.
No worries, tho. I dont find the change depressing. I have found enjoyment in so many other things, and the distance has made the parties that I *do* go to even better. (but a lot harder to recover from....holy a big massive like bal en blanc had me exhausted straight til thursday...) :crazy: |

Im 24....I dont know what im going thru but I have things to look forward to....... getting married in 4 months time....So its gona be a big change...I'll have a wifey for real:D (Like my very own ) LOL I dont know how to explain buts its kinda kool feeling.
Thats all besides that Im just like most of you.....I think 25 years later I'll be touching 50 and thats big jump.I'll be an old man:nervous: scary stuff. |

whats even scarier is when i start hearing about old friends of mine getting married etc. im like WTF are ppl thinking. :(
im scared im not ready for marriage anytime in the next 10 years |

Some of my HS friends have KIDS!! That's always the shocker for me. Married, meh (maybe it's because I am? Dunno...) but kids! Holy man, I don't plan on those til i'm 30-ish. And even that is only 3 years away! I feel so young inside but so old on the outside!

Agreed 100%. I have so many friends that are married now and starting families. I say to hell with that!
I'm anti-marriage through and through, but if I ever do settle down it won't be until I'm at least 30. What's the point of rushing into locking yourself down for the rest of your life?? |

yeah Im 19 and half of my graduating class is either married/engaged or has had or is having a kid. :nervous: parents always ask me why I havent settled down yet.. hello hickville |

LOL, I felt the same way. Now with 30 rolling in in another 9 months, I am ok with it...FINALLY! :)
I can feel my body slowing down a little bit (especially with partying) and I rather be at home and in bed by 11pm on a Friday night now, but I have partied enough, I can still pass for 26 if I tried, I have gotten to travel a little and live my life as I have wanted to with no distractions, so 30 won't be so bad. |
