:haha: and wtf are we exactly ruining for you? someone is a bit antsy today, eh? sorry if not all of us are willing to blow off $800. if you think you're so special because you had one, then keep it to yourself and that will make you a lot more respectable. ;) not the typical "omg look at me i'm so VIP" girl that you seem to be coming off as.

but i'm glad you didn't cuz it made it 29784398759847 times more fun for me passing you whiners in line as they rolled out the red carpet
:haha: :stongue:
Well I didnt have to spend near what you did to get into the parties I went to and got in about as easily as you because I arrived early. The wristband would be great for the whinners but then again, they would bitch that its too expensive.

i agree that it's all about arriving early. as i originally posted it was my fault because i forgot to plan ahead for ultra ending around that time, which delayed me by over an hour to drive 2 blocks to park my car. i was just ranting about the shadiness of the whole thing. at this point i'm just trying to see if i could get a refund to actually end up profiting from this whole thing as i had sold the tickets in line.

i just like messing with you b/c you seem to get so easily annoyed at things that just come with the territory when you go to these kinds of events.
gotta admit though, the wristband made life so much less stressful. i didnt have to wait or arrive early for anything, just got right in...so if you think your time wasted outside wasn't worth $800, cool...i just know it allowed me to go to a lot of parties i wouldnt have otherwise gone to b/c of the very things you're bitchin about in this thread. to each their own.
if you got in at some point and had even an ounce of fun, stop trying to get a refund...thats just some cheapskate crap. reminds me of the small-minded people i deal with daily in the midwest always tryin to pinch a penny and worry about someone "getting one over" on them...WMC is nothing but a week of pissing your money away and having a in awesome time.
sorry you didn't!
the unknown
Isnt one of the advatages of buying presale tickets supposed to be guaranteed entry into an event? Regardless of what time you get there?
If not, what is the point of buying presale tickets?
And if presales dont really mean , then what prevents clubs from selling as many tickets as they want? Then when people who purchased presales bitch about it, the club blames it on those people for not arriving on time...that just doesnt make sense to me

you make it sound like this was the only event i planned on going for the entire wmc. i went to plenty of other events throughout the entire week and had an amazing time as well.
i'll admit i was a bit bummed out the night of this mishap (waiting 2 hours in a line for nothing could do that to just about anyone), but i've been quite over it since the day after. i hope i don't come across as a little whiny bitching person, because i'm far from that. actually, i was quite happy i could finally go home and rest and get my life back together.
again i'll mention that my original post was just a little rant that i wrote the night of.

It isn't unlike airlines, they sell over to capacity all the time. It doesn't make sense, but it is something you learn to deal with in certain cities/clubs. As a consumer I buy presales to save money, clubbing gets expensive and it all adds up.

Yes, if I buy presales to an event I feel like I can show up whenever I want. Yes, I live in a hick town, but regardless, I paid for a service and was denied that service. The club has capacity limits and shouldnt sell presales if they arent going to honor all the ticketholders who purchase them.
I went, stood in line for ing ever, therefore I would like a refund...is that wrong?
Just because it's like this in Vegas, doesnt mean it has to be this way in Miami. People who are "ok" with purchasing presales and then having to pay an additional $200 to get into a party are pretty much enabling these clubs/bouncers/whoever to do this...making it acceptable
I dont find that acceptable. If a club wants to be like that, then dont sell presale tickets to an event! Just charge admission at the door and rape people for however much you want. You damn sure wont catch me paying $200 to get into a club
And by no means am I saying it was the club owners fault for what went on, especially with the $200 bribes to be snuck in the back. But someone has to dish out some compensation
Don't know why you even bothered replying to the Idiot, he was sipping his hick Corona the whole time the bull outside was going on and so doesn't really know what he's talking about.
Only an IDIOT would find it acceptable to be denied entry after purchasing tickets to an event. Turning up to a club even at midnight is pretty early in Miami, but I wouldn't expect the hick from San Fran to know this because he's probably ready for bed after Armins dropped shivers at 2.30am.
FACT = You paid for an event, queued several hours for the event which resulted in missing the headliner (which I wasn't bothered about personally) all because the event was oversold. It's just a ridiculous argument where there's no question those who who were locked out are rightfully owed a refund for their tickets, no law in the land would see it any other way..this is not the ing wild west:rolleyes:

It's great you have nothing better to do with your life than arrive at clubs as they open but I personally find hanging around an empty club for a couple of hours drinking overpriced drinks amongst 50 or so 1st time clubber's a little embarrassing.
