How often do you call your rents?

| I have a great relationship with my mom but she's always bitching at me for not calling her more often. I call her about once a week or when I have to tell her something. How often do you speak to your parents? I'm just not a big chatter on the phone and I work so much that I hardly ever talk to anybody on the phone. I hope she doesn't think I don't care or I'm a bad son. :conf: |

| i get the same thing from father actually. If I go more than two weeks, he starts to flip. My mothers cooler about it though - I get my independence streak from her. |

I have a good relationship with mine as well, but only call them periodically or when I want to tell them something. Although I go through the spirts of calling them on a more regular basis every now and again.
My mom also txts so I can keep in touch with her that way. :) |

Eh, I call my Mom's side of the family in Long Island (much closer physically to me) every few weeks. Usually to check in with them, try and hit them up for money :tongue2, or to let them know that I'll be stopping by for some reason.
As far as my Dad's side of the family in Louisiana, I call them maybe every few months. My Dad works on offshore oil rigs in Asia, so he and I will send an e-mail every few months or so as well. And then we try and get together when he comes back to the country, which is once or twice a year. Speaking of which, I definitely haven't talked to that side of the family since before Christmas. Note to self, call them. |

| yea, my mother def calls me more than I call her. I should call her more often but i don't even really call anyone much to begin with. But shes learned to use Yahoo Messenger and email now so we definitely communicate a lot more that way. =) |

| my fam is lucky if they ever get a call from me. my mom probably calls about twice a month though. |

I talk to my mom EVERYDAY or every other day. Even for a few minutes *sometimes way longer*. I keep her updated with EVERYTHING.
My dad and I talk like once a week. |

your a girl.....my girl does the same thing; she talks to her mom all the time. my mother mainly annoys me when she calls. ;) |

one word answers all the way. my mom tried telling me how she was injured at her job a few weeks ago and i said, 'stop complaining.' (she's a school teacher and was trying to break up a fight) ouch, i'm bad. |
