I think conversations with parents over the phone are soooo hard for guys. I mean, us men don't like to talk on the phone in the first place, but then to talk to your parents about god knows what can be killer sometimes. I dont even like talking on the phone with my gf, cause i see her 5 times a week... nothing changes in my life since the last 12 hrs we spoke.....
I think the phone is purely a utilitarian tool for men imo. You tell people what you need to tell them and get off. a good phone call shouldnt last more thne 3 min...haha |

| I call my mom once or twice a week (if its a good week) but then she'll also call me about twice a week. It's my grandma that I should be calling and visiting more often that I feel bad about because she is starting to show her age. |

| once a week i speak to both my parents then my mom checks in on my sister and i by asking my brother (who still lives at home) if he's heard from us and asks my sister and i when we last spoke to each other so yeah she keeps tab on us daily. |

| The questions get to me to the pt where I don't want to talk for long periods of time at all. Yea I know its parents being parents. I've been away from home since I went away for college awhile back -- its been so long I am totally not used to answering to anyone. |

| My mom is in Long Island, a 45 min to an hour drive from me in Westchester. My dad's side of the family is in Louisiana, and my dad is in Singapore at the moment. |

Oh, Brian! You're a lovely godson. I'm just rearanging the spare room so you can use it...it's been taken over by the DJ gear. Steven likes to "rip it sikk" over the winter in that room! Can't wait to see you. They're stocking Salmon in the river now. That explains all that pink trout we had last summer... |
