Do I know most of the CZ residents hourly rates at CZ? Yes. Is CZ closing down going to be a blow to their income? Of course it is you ing twat. The majority of CZ Sunday residents DO NOT have day jobs. I know it's a concept that might blow your mind, but yes, they DJ for a living. They actually depend on that regular Sunday gig to support their income. |

my point was that the DJs, especially the ones who DJ full time have multiple 'jobs' (ie. sets @ different clubs) so losing one of them is not as big of a deal as closing the zone would be to the other CZ 'employees' who probably work there for 24 hours a week.

It's unfortunate but what's happening because of it is pissing me the off. The people who lost credibility are the cops, and yes, this kids mother and sister, who are lying about the entire situation. They're twisting the details, leaving out important information, and plain-old making up to push their agenda forward.
This is what frustrates me the most. I know for a fact that the cops are going to keep coming back over and over again until zone closes its doors. And then they're gonna go through every other club in the city with a reputation, INCLUDING GUV, until the scene is nothing like it was. Everything that the true clubbers/ravers/scenesters (NOT INTERNET FORUM FANATICS) know and love about the Toronto scene is being disrupted.
So back to my point, all the people on here who speculate on they don't even know. Go ing talk about Britney Spears! |
dude, how old are you and how long have you been in the "scene" for?? the scene has gone through several evolutions and changes...ask the people that partied in the eighties, early nineties...mid nineties..get my drift...? Comfort zone does is not representative of the scene..it is an after hours that has had a much longer run than most..get over it...if it closes down..trust me dude..the scene will not die..there will be another place to replace it....the party will go on....
there is only one place that has never been or never will be replaced in this city..and that is the Industry nightclub..you want to talk about a place that represented this SCENE of ours..well there it is....that was a place to be proud of..
i don't consider myself an internet forum fanatic..i can tell you about some parties that you can only wish you attended...no disrespect but you sound very ignorant..and that is the opposite of what you obvioiusly are trying to achieve with your lecture about the future of "the scene" |
