luckily i wasnt far from my house so i fetched some string, tied it to the pipe thing and crawled back home.
this rly sucks. lol
got the mechanic coming to my house in the morning to assess the work (it was him that ing did the welding job in the first place)

| You might want to switch that shoelace for a wire coat hanger and I dont know what runs through that hose (fuel/brakefluid)you tied it to but you need to anchor on something else. |

yeah it was only a temporary fix, i didnt tie it on very tight (but tight enough so the exhast wouldnt fall down whilst in mid motion), it just needed something to hang onto! |

one time the tailpipe of my exhaust came off while driving over a railroad crossing.. however it was still attached with a rubber strap and the metal dragged over the street.. that made a hell of a noise. i saw sparks in my rear view mirror lmao :p
the funniest part was the sound of my car after it had come off entirely.. sounded like a WRC Rally car :D |

um, no. you want a rubber band of some kind. something elastic. a wire coat hangar is a terrible idea. trust me, i found out the hard way ;)
but yes, there should be somewhere else to tie it, definitely not on that hose thing. |

that happened to me once back in the day coming back from a rave. didn't snap in half completely but it fell off and it was dragging on the ground. we stopped the car to see what was up and these bums ended up helping us take it off, but they ed up my tire jack in the process.
