I was thinking of just going up for a weekend partying and coming back. But the closest date I can find is May 30th for bus service... |

Craigslist rideboard is really awesome too.
People go to Montreal often for the weekend from Toronto. They leave Friday night and come back Sunday and they only ask for like 30-40 bucks.
There are even some that go to New York also for like 50 bucks... |

You are not really saving that much time between flying and bus if you take into account travel time to/from airport, going through customs, waiting to board plane, etc. But yes, it's time saved but not 20 hours! |
