| The mk4 R32 is/seems better than the MK5. They both hold a solid resale value and the MK5 has a better rear suspension but not having a manual option was a mistake on MK5s . Buying new is for suckers though. |

ehh buying new isnt for suckers. it's good if you dont want to deal with anything other than regular maintenance. for us gear heads though, it's close to a waste but not completely. we will see what happens. |

| Ive made the mistake twice, but getting used is so easy around here. Let some ass take th $5k hit driving off the lot and buy the car with CPO and a few thousand miles for a fraction of the cost. So many folks try to " keep up with the Jones'" that you can get a great car without the hit. |

i drive an '03 jetta TDI and i just picked up some 18" BBS RC wheels off the craigslist this week. some guy was selling his stock jetta GLI wheels and i snapped them up! quite happy with em
