as a person who never wears sneakers, I am surprised to see all this for "name-brand" sneakers.
Do people really care? I thought this phase ended in middle school. I have found many cute leggings and accesories at Target and I guarantee you ppl will never know they aren't "name brand".
If she wants to save money and wear sneakers for a few weeks where the weather might be .. Then go ahead and buy sketchers. Throw em away before u get on the plane.
Why buy nice shoes if your going to dirty them up right away? |

I buy nike simply because a) they're value for money. I've had 1 pair of nikes last longer than 4 or 5 other pairs with equal wear. The comfort is immense and they just 'fit' me properly. Sure they have the nike logo on them but they work hard |

| Well, its not so much the "cool" factor in this situation. I just need to wear something that's truly going to be comfortable for 14 days of walking. Its probable that the more expensive brands are going to hold up through it, which is what Myra and Jenny are suggesting, I think. |

There was a sketchers phase in the UK a few years ago...luckily the instigators of said trend were caught and punished appropriately. Now you hardly see any cunt wearing them.
Let's just hope the bastards don't start shipping them in from the US again... |

Who the calls them 'sneakers'? Surely you mean 'trainers'... That's almost as bad as some of the culchies over here calling them 'gutties'. |
