For destinations... you gotta go to Scotland surely? Edinburgh... ahh Edinburgh... castle on volcano on the main street, royal mile = mile of pubs, rose street = mile of restaurants/pubs, cowgate = loads of good clubs... why not?
Thats RIGHT in the center. The main shopping street is there. Pubs EVERYWHERE. It's very cosmopolitan and great atmosphere. Lived with 15 different nationalities in one year there once. :p
Something like 5 art galleries. Two huge museums. Botanic gardens. And millions of other things.
Better than ty London anyway (just a collection of smaller than you'd think not very interesting sites miles from each other - loved the houses of parliament though). Miles better in Edinburgh. If you're feeling adventurous can go up to the highlands too.
Loch Ness, Orkney islands loads to do and see outside of the central belt (south of Scotland).
I dunno anything about womens footwear but... I know that K Swiss shoes are the comfiest in the world. :P
Dunno what the perception of them are there but I love em.

My roommate seems to think that Im ridiculous and all I'll really need is a pair of tennis shoes. Period.
Although we just found out that the guy Im travelling with is to be the best man in the wedding, which means there will be wedding events to attend, which means Im going to either have to 1. pack more shoes than I planned on or 2. have my wedding-type shoes/clothes shipped to the chateau. |

Good call, Teva's are awesome. I have some Teva leather sandals and some sports sandal things the same as this (but in light brown leather)
Super comfortable shoes. |
