I'm using Nou's laptop right now to type this. We're at his cabin, I've already "spun" (see: Ableton) for the night, DJFreaq is in the middle of a Psy Trance set, and Nou will prolly be spinning here in a bit.
We're all fairly drunk. Good times. |

Last night I went to a place called "O Lounge"
They usually play nice haus muzik but tonight the place had been rented out for a private bday party
I wore a black skirt and turtleneck tank top thinking I was going to be way overdressed... I get there and the place is packed with ginas wearing borderline prom dresses and guidos running around yelling VIVA JUVENTUS! :crazy: :wtf: :wtf:
The music started out solid - I came with the gf of the DJ - some solid dirty beats. Then, upon the request of the Top40-lovin crowd "Boots wit da fur" came on and I think I heard something by DJ Sammy at which point I stopped dancing and hit the bar as a full-timer.
I ended up getting plastered and talking for 2 hours to a Sicilian guy named Daniel who stood out to me because he looked like a huge nerd which was so ing sexy and appealing amongst the infinite amounts of fake tans and over-the-top bling bling attitude and loud singing and gorilla dancing.
Highlight of the night was when we left and hit the pizzeria across the street at 3:00am. |
