| I've seen some sketchy in broad daylight at piknic, more than I've seen at outdoor events in TO. People doing key bumps or lines in the middle of the day in front of kids and everyone else...I'm glad it will be a bit more restricted, even if the line ups are longer. |

PIKNIC NEWSLETTER
I'm sorry this is only in french. Please read it's very important. Drug consumption will no longer be tolerated at piknic. To much abuse in the past couple weeks, a few stupid people exagerated, it's time to start throwing out people who act like they are in their living room or at an outdoor rave.
*****************************************************************
On te surprend à consommer, tu seras expulsé.
Tu as surconsommé, on te donnera ton congé.
Behave! Ça veut tout dire!
Au Piknic, té pas dans ton salon!

| They're not mentioning any searches and I don't think they'll do it... they just want people to stay in control and not do drugs in broad daylight. Be discreet, for 's sake ;-) |

Lol, I knew GHB in broad daylight would be bad, getting drugs into Piknic won't be a problem tho...
However it is pretty unorthodox to do lines of coke when there are kids right there... |

Last Sunday, I go for a walk to chill out by the water. And I see a dude foaming at the mouth, fetal position, eyes rolling back, in an ambulance stretcher being taken away while a lil 4 yr old girl looks on.
Beautiful.

sounds like the Guvernment moved into the daylight...:p |

piknik has always had that "discreet" rules
im not doing g or anything like that at piknik... but even when I roll a joint I make sure it's hidden so no one can see...
the guys who show up g'ed out, w no sleep, no food, in 30 degree weather needs to wake up to the reality of life
then again... I was at beach club sunday and spotted THREE ambulances bringing ed up people to the hospital... Piknik or not.. drugs are around.
Kudos for Piknik for taking a step in the right direction.
Pot = fine
GHB'ut argonauts = :S |

La langue française
On dirait de la poésie |
yeah
its very well written
french when written like that truly is poetic... not like the MON TABARNAC stuff we sometimes see
erika: I don't think the lineups will be bigger they'll just be watching the dancefloor chill out area more for people doing drugs/too high |

there will always be others that exceed tolerable limits and ruin the good time for everyone else.
with that said, i know piknic is all about the idea of all types of people coming together, regardless of age, race, sex, etc but i still cannot see why people would bring their 4 YEAR OLD SON/DAUGHTER there. even if they are far from the loud music and in the play area for the young children they can be exposed to seeing people on drugs, clouds of smoke whether its weed or cigarettes and imagine one wanders off near the speakers...the loud music can't be good for a young child's developing and sensitive ears.also ive seen some of the parents there..and they looked a little too relaxed...im not saying they all are but imagine losing your kid in a crowd of 4000 people?
personally, if i was a parent i would never bring my kid there just to avoid exposing them to the wrong things, even though the majority of the people who attend piknic usually keep it cool and discrete if they do feel the need to consume. a young child is going to get confused and ask her parents questions if they see a guy being taken away on a stretcher all ed. |

I was actually standing right beside a mom who was doing coke right infront of her BABY. I thought that wasn't too cool... I agree with the fact that Piknic isn't a place for babies...
And damn those cigarette buds everywhere, I was walking around picnik barefoot(don't ask why) and I was stepping on buds that were just thrown on the ground and it felt unpleasant :p |
