then you obviously have a different view of what spoiling is than i do. i think a severe mutilation (arm getting chopped off, at the end) is spoiling enough. spoiling to me is telling something about the subject at hand.. if i havent seen the movie, id rather have no details given away.

i deal with people spoiling things i like all the time, in my anime hubs people ruin what happens in an episode, or the end of the series. ive had rpgs ruined for me by people telling parts of what happens.

i guess for some people, telling these details doesnt matter. but to lots of other people, they do. and i dont think its that challenging to refrain from mentioning details when talking about something which has only been out for one day.

actually yoda does not really kick ass and i thought the fight scenes in this move were crap compared to Episode 1. Darth Maul vs. Obi Wan was the ..this stuff is just lame.

and all that stadium fighting stuff if just a ripoff of Colisseum and Gladiator!

agree...

I prefer the fight scenes in Episode I, too...

I was expecting a better movie... :sadgreen:

I agree with you, and he shouldn't have posted that. I just thought I'd play the devil's advocate, because it really isn't a big deal... Luke got his arm chopped off before, and they just put a new one on lol

PS, the battle scenes were good... escpecially in the colisseum

For all the story-telling that Lucas did for 1 hr 15 mins, it was all made up for the fight scenes.

The coliseum sequence was worth every penny and the lack of sleep I got for going ot the mid-night showing. I know that most of us will love this movie.

Goooooo! YODA!!!!

what would be neat is if they somehow grafted a light saber on in place of a missing arm.

hahah, don't give Lucas any crazy ideas.

Are you going to see it this weekend sothis? I figured you being a big anime fan, would be right there with us crazy Star Wars fans. There were about 1000 people in line for last nights mid-night showing at the theatre we went to. Probablt more every where else.

To me it matters :whip: :whip: :whip: bah!! I didn't want to know ANYTHING at all, but noooooo, now I know that he gets his arm cut off...ugh :whip:

As for getting things spoiled, well, I think that the worst was when I was nearing the end of disc 1 in Final Fantasy VII (thats 7 for ya'll none Romans ;)), and my friend tells me "Peter, the ending of disc 1 is un-ing-believable! You're never gonna suspect that *blank* *blank* *blank* etc etc etc." For those that know the ending of disc 1, you can comment but don't say what it is, in case someone is playing the game, heheh.
Dude

the critics, i loved this movie. besides some cheezy acting it was a great movie. and even if you dont like star wars, ill side with a lot of people in this thread when i say that yoda kicking ass really makes the movie worth it hahahaha

I liked it, especially in comparison to episode 1 (I hate episode 1 that kid kills me, and jar jar kick it while it's down :( ) anyways, yeah it was pretty good, abit slow at times, but I liked how they tied everything together pretty cleanly and falls together, and of course it's going to be left open, heh, it's the middle movie. My major gripe is the fact that the voice dubbing on several scenes was absolute ! natalie would move here lips, half a second later he would hear here, it was no good, that and the fact that the actors just seem so OVER acting, they aren't 'themselves' at all, watch the orginals and see the kick ass body play and smartass aditude of Han, now that is a character you can love. Better then episode 1, HELL yes (an easy feat if you ask me) anywhere near the orginals, nope of course argueing about starwars over the internet has to be one of the single silliest thing you can do :happy2:
