Yeah Armin actually made the night. we bullted for a few minutes before he got on and he was hyped up about getting some new stuff to play. his set and his mixing were top notch last night. that was a better set than i have ever seen him play in miami. reemy was ok. he is a very nice guy though. there were about 1800 to 2000 people in there and they were completely into his set. it was just an amazing night.

i would have died to see remys dj set. anyone got a playlist on what remy played >?

OK here's my review....

Got there early to Catch everyone from start to finish. Remy was perhaps one of the best openers I have heard in a long long while. I know his sound has gotten a bit proggier from WAAY back in the day but after hearing his guest mix on the Trance Around the World show a while back I really dug it.

What can I say the man knew how to build a groove and keep people coming back for more. I loved it.

Armin came on and the crowd went nutso of course. This makes the 3rd time I've seen Armin and I will say this is definately the best of those 3 performances. I felt some of his choons were not exactly my cup of tea, but certainly not "bad". I liked all the new stuff and of course the throwbacks (Zocalo, and that [what I thought I heard] remix of 4-Strings Take Me Away) although I felt at times the sound got a little "crunchy" which usually co-incided with armin messing with the mixer so I'm assuming a little accidental "clipping/redlining" was happening. Still tho props to Mr. Ed "Spinfactor" on always bringing the booming sound.

All in all I had an absolutely awesome time. I bought VIP but spent all night in the middle of the dance floor hahahaa. Although I will admit the drinks were WAY better prepared when we bought up stairs (just stronger)

It was great seeing everyone out and meeting alot of new people. Thanks to 77002, Disco, and everyone who made the show possible.

This was the first time I've really gone out to a good show in a while and I plan on making it more of a habit. Ben, you and the rest of the 77002 guys have my full support!

sounds awesome :)

Next year, my goal is to either go to NL and see his Armin Only show, or go to Ibiza and see him play at the resident club he does there every summer. Both are on my to-do list, but I hope to get one of those done next year.

copied from the Armin thread.

That's the sickest show my eyes will ever see...hands down. I almost got fired this morning at work for being 3 hours late. But like I told my boss when I came in (and she agreed)... I would do it all over again if I had to.

90+ pics on my myspace, and 5 videos will be uploaded by tonight. I caught the entire scene where Armin played "Alex MORPH - Walk The Edge" and he got on stage and told people to hold up their phones while the lights went out. It was kinda hard because I had my mom on the phone (yea, she loves that choon), and then I had to call my brother and my friend Kevin and put them on 3-way so they could listen to the entire track. That is by far going down as one of the most memorable moments in my life.

Special thanks to Cory for hooking it up all the way. Nice to have seen Matthias again (I will never go skydiving now LOL), Brando (I am a crazy nut as you witnessed), Ryan, Dj Dimensions (sorry for the disappearance...but that bouncer pissed me off), Esco, Lizandro Rod, and anybody else I missed.

This one ing owned. Check my pics on myspace & facebook if you can. I'll post vid links up later.

seriously? A show at bar rio, houston, is the best you will ever see from here on out?
lol

the sea of cell phone lights is pretty cool. I heard he's been doing that at all of his shows lately.

You're just on a roll today aren't you Sharpie? :D

Probably not, but I have to give it a green light thus far.
