After watching the below interview, I have now figured the dude out, it didn't take long -...

and it didn't take long, thanks to your post, to figure YOU out.

so how fun is it being a jealous hater and how well does that pay?

I bet it's not nearly as fun, and pays a lot less, than what Joel is doing these days.

LOL I wish this thread was made in the COR they all hate him with a passion.

lol this guy is just jealous.

btw, i would never consider any dj/producer a musician. i mean some use a synthesizer but to me that doesnt really count as much of an instrument. a guitar, drums, piano, violin, those are instruments.

hahah, just watched the interview...theres no way you can figure anyone out just by an interview.. u have to really see/hear the guy in real life. In the interview joel states it gets awkward when fans come up to him,, thats why i don't make conversation or try to get a pic with him..

I like how he said he's a sucker for message boards!! WE WIN!!!

btw.. who is this guy that just stands there with his arm with fist pointing out straight up ?? who does that! hahah

Whatcha talkin bout Willis???!?!

i find this thread to be extremely ignorant (on djbombtrack's part).

a person does not need to be a trained musician to make music, especially with electronic music. its not hard to understand the concept of it when it comes to bars/measures and all that stuff. as long as you have the basics and have a great idea and know how to implement it, then you have the chance to be successful. even some of house music's biggest names and originators would agree with me. just watch History Of House Music and you will see.

i think im a good example of this but in a slightly different industry. i did not go to school for photography. i happened to be at guv on night many years ago and met shaya. after looking through his pics i decided that i wanted to give it a try and went out and bought my very first camera (sony dsc-p72). that was my first time using a camera. i taught myself everything and i think i know enough to get by. there is always room to learn more.
