Firefox 3 should lower the memory usage.
I like Opera, I installed it right after installing a new linux distro, but it just seemed chinsey to me. Although that was at least a year ago, and I have heard good things about Opera since then. |

I like how Opera handles better, actually. It wasn't the system resource hogging that got me to switch over. It was actually the fact that it just handled only slightly better than IE to me. Opera was leaps and bounds the way I saw it. |

When I was on kubuntu, it crashed excessively also. |

OR install and then its just tools-useragentswitcher-ie7. Imho much better as you never have to open another browser! |
